NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla. (September 23, 2018) – The upcoming IFA Redfish Tour events set for September 22-23 at Georgetown, South Carolina, have been cancelled due to the expectancy of Hurricane Florence. The hurricane is set to make landfall on the East Coast, affecting coastal and inland areas of South Carolina and North Carolina.
Anglers can keep up to date of any possible rescheduling by visiting the IFA’s website, signing up for the newsletter or following IFA social media outlets. Anglers with any questions about qualifying for the championship or Team of the Year points can call the IFA at (478) 836-4266.
Continuing to draw inshore anglers from Texas to the Carolina’s, both IFA Tours include five different divisions, each with a two-event regular season. With budget-friendly entry fees, both tours offer opportunities to compete close to home while keeping anglers’ expenses to a minimum.
